Default WTF! My account is blocked!

Okay so I was on Guild Wars last night and go to log in tonight, and BOOM. I get this error message:



WTF! I haven't evne done anything! I was on it last night and everything was fine! I haven't been cussing in the game, I haven't used mods, nothing! Why is this happening?!

And I have access to several accounts and only this one is doing it. And it just has to be my main, the one that I've dedicated thousands of hours to and countless amounts of money both in-game and in real life. That one has Urgoz's Longbow, all the titles, the elite armors...

Has this ever happened to anyone before? And it doesn't say how long it will last. I contacted PlayNC support ant it says to hear back in one business day or so. But that's not until Monday! Why did this have to happen now?!

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

It has been blocked, not banned. They may be looking at stuff on your account.

I did, I was asking if anyone has had this happen before. And the last thing I need is smart aleck remarks, I've put hundreds of dollars and time into that account and it has been blocked for absolutely no reason for the first time since I started playing. I more than deserve to know what the hell's going on.

Excuse me, but I DID NOT purchase in-game gold with real money. By countless amounts of money I mean buying all the campaigns, bonus pack, game of the year items, mini pets, elite armor, Urgoz's Longbow, and much more.

Looks like you're account is under review by Anet for something, have you made any large trades in GW recently? I've heard that with the new 3rd year mini pets being sold for 100k + 30-80 ectos (yeah you read that correctly) a few accounts have been blocked until an investigation into their actions has taken place.

Also chances are if you're accounts been blocked you did something wrong, half the time Anet let people get away with stuff. And those few who have their accounts blocked, banned or suspended are usually guilty. So if you have bought gold for real cash, might aswell own up to it.

Just happen to me too, yesterday actually. I submitted a support tickets, they asked for some infomation on my account so far, but don't know what's wrong as of now. Still waiting for a respond. Just be patience, if you haven't done anything wrong, I'm sure it'll be alright.

No I didn't do any big trades, I DID NOT PURCHASE GOLD WITH REAL MONEY, and I didn't buy any of the new minis. If they don't give this back I may be forced to take legal action.

I would have thought any civilised company would send a covering email when these things happen, it should really be an automated procedure.

Sadly I assume this has more to do with not wording such an email to leave the company open for action.

But still you would think a message saying your account has been blocked we apologise this could indicate computer error a report against your account which is being investigated etc etc.

That said we hope its sorted soon but cannot do anything to help

edited No reason to laugh at the idea of legal action you would be surprised at what some countries governments consider actionable in Law of course such is unlikely to ever happen in this case unless someone is picked on who has serious money or legal clout.

Tender wolf, you are not going to DIE if you don't have account access for 24 hours. I'm sure you may have seen that a lot of members accounts were recenty, truly hacked into and items stolen. Has it occurred to you that maybe, just throwing out a scenario here, the hacker maybe logged onto your account? That maybe NCSoft is trying to protect you? That any number of other situations may have arisen where they are just trying to look into something?

Don't overreact. Give them some time, send off a support ticket and calm down.

I am in the same situation right now, Anet is looking into it. I dont care if you people (aka people who dont know me) think I did something wrong because I know I am innocent. I do not need you to believe me, but if you do, I am glad. The evidence will prove itself, and in the meantime, my boyfriend is acting as a go between me and my alliance. Do not judge others my friends, for some day, you may be in the same state.

Edit: btw, I have not been offline for just a day, its been far over 30 hours and counting.
